The ETHIOPIAN Cross Necklace III is our largest Aksumite Cross on our thickest chain. The Ethiopian Cross is one of the most detailed of all crosses. Its intricate lattice work represents eternal life. The three parts that terminate its points represent the holy trinity. Axum is one of the oldest, continually inhabited places in Africa, it is said to be the place where the Queen of Sheba brought the Arc of the Covenant after her famed meeting with King Solomon. The cross universally is a symbol of the crossroads, intersecting consciousnesses and the choices we make in life. Handcrafted with fine metals using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
